Memberships and recurring billing
The Correspondence is £12.99 per month, The Complete Case is £124.99 per year, and The 414 is £29.99 per month. By completing Stripe Checkout you authorise the stated recurring charge until the membership is cancelled. Any promotion is shown before payment.
The Crossing
UK delivery is included. For addresses outside the United Kingdom, international postage (“The Crossing”) is added as a separate recurring charge: £3.99 per month for monthly memberships or £47.88 per year for The Complete Case. The final recurring total is shown in Stripe Checkout before payment.
Dispatch and fulfilment
Each member begins Case 001 with Correspondence 001. The opening cohort’s first correspondence leaves Pendle on 1 October 2026; that is a dispatch date, not a guaranteed arrival date. The Complete Case secures the sequence in advance but its twelve correspondences are still dispatched approximately monthly, not together. Delivery timing varies by destination.
The 414
Founding Membership is limited to 414 paid memberships. A Founding number from 001 to 414 is allocated only after successful payment confirmation and is not reserved by joining the email list or merely opening checkout. Ordinary membership may remain available after the Founding Ledger closes.
Cancellation, failed payment and refunds
Monthly members may cancel future renewals through the Stripe Customer Portal; future correspondence stops when paid membership access ends. Annual cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid annual period. Failed payments may pause future fulfilment. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected; contact us promptly where you believe a payment or delivery is incorrect. No automated partial-refund policy is created by this website.
Archive and fiction
Archive discoveries may accompany the Case where relevant; no fixed number of digital items is promised. The Pendle Witch Trials were real. Case 001 and the organisation called The Pendle Circle are fictional storytelling. The “closed” and “reopened” dates are brand mythology.
