What we collect
For paid membership we receive and store your name, email, telephone number if supplied, shipping country and address, membership tier, subscription and customer references, payment status, join date, Case progress and fulfilment record. Stripe processes payment-card details; The Pendle Circle does not store your full card details. Contact and Kit email-list forms collect the details shown on those forms.
Why we use it
We process membership data to take payment, administer subscriptions, allocate Founding numbers, deliver physical correspondence, provide relevant Archive access, prevent fraud and keep financial and fulfilment records. Email-list data is processed with consent; enquiries are processed to respond to you.
Providers and transfers
Stripe provides payment, billing and Customer Portal services. Kit provides email subscription and confirmation services. Hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the site. We do not sell personal data. Where data is processed outside the UK, the provider’s lawful transfer safeguards apply.
Retention and security
Membership and transaction records are retained for fulfilment, legal, tax, accounting and dispute purposes. Email-list information remains until you unsubscribe or it is no longer needed. Access to membership records and Stripe credentials is restricted server-side; no secret payment key is placed in the browser.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your data, object to some processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
